San Diego Beach

This weekend, Lilia and I took a little girls trip to San Diego to spend the weekend with Colleen and primita Lexi.  We had so much fun playing in the sand in Del Mar, visiting the seals in La Jolla, swimming in the pool, and playing in the sand at the beach.  Here are a few pictures of our adventures at the beach.  Such special memories!

April Dancing Skills

Dancing Debut

We FINALLY got a video of Lilia's dancing skills- although she doesn't show us her shimmy shake this time.  It seems like every day she has a new dance move.  But when we whip out the camera she instantly stops.  Yet she will dance for ANYONE who walks in the door.  I think she might be a dancer first and a soccer player second.... But that's not so bad!

18 Month Doctor Appt

Lilia had her 18 month appt today.  We found out she is 3% for weight, doctor not worried.  She is perfectly normal in her development otherwise- talking, walking, etc.  Lilia even played a trick on the doctor- she had a pen of his and when he asked for it, she walked over to him, put her hand up like she was going to give it to him, and when he put his hand out to take it, she pulled away with the pen!  what a trickster!  He loved her sense of humor!
  These videos are while we were waiting for the doctor to come in.  Lilia would not stop running back and forth across the room tagging the walls...so strange, and so hilarious!

Casita

We recently got another car seat for Lilia, which will go in Miguel's car to replace the infant seat she has finally outgrown.  My friend Bree made a few little box houses for Lola, so I decided with this big box it would be a fun idea to have a little house for Lilia.  She loves it!  We put the little kitchen set that Mamita gave her several months ago in the casita.  Lilia brings her babies and doggies in with her and shuts the door.  Playing house- so precious!

Exploring about Bilingual Noises

Lilia is at the point where she will try to imitate what noises we all make.  Learning both Spanish and English can be tough, but this girl is well on her way at only 16 months old....
